Happy 2023! The new year brings the fourth anniversary of Pote Law Firm! We’re proud and grateful to continue to grow, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing clients! We sincerely appreciate all of you!

As a part of our commitment to creating social, environmental and other benefits, on this anniversary we are proud to announce that we have become a public benefit corporation. Click here to see the public benefit statement in our articles of incorporation.

Below are some highlights from Pote Law’s activities over the past year:

In July, we sponsored Cottonwood Institute's Throwdown at McGregor Square. The event was back in person for the first time since 2019 and we were so glad to be able to join other great companies to help support Cottonwood’s mission of connecting young people to nature, and to empower them to become youth leaders and advocates for the environment.

In September, we were proud to sponsor the 10th anniversary of Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center (RMEOC) to celebrate their decade of work uplifting workers and promoting cooperative forms of ownership. RMEOC’s mission is to build a more just and sustainable economy through employee ownership and we’re happy to help support this mission.

In October, we sponsored yet another event. This time the 5th anniversary of Good Business Colorado (GBC), which is a nonprofit organization that helps values-driven businesses advocate for a more prosperous economy, equitable communities, and a sustainable environment. We’ve been fortunate to work with GBC and its members in a variety of capacities in over the last few years and look forward to continuing to do so in the years ahead.

In addition to these sponsorships, for the 4th straight year we fulfilled our commitment to the Colorado Supreme Court of providing at least 50 hours of pro bono services per year. Much of this work is done in connection with Colorado Attorneys for the Arts (CAFTA).

Finally, we’re still a proud 1% for the Planet member donating at least 1% of our firm revenue to environmentally-focused nonprofits within the 1% for the Planet network.

We are so thankful to everyone who made 2022 such a successful year and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with our clients, partners, and friends in 2023 and beyond! Wishing you all a bright and prosperous year!
